高二关于春节英语作文：The Spring Festival

The Spring Festival in China is an important traditional festival.

Before the New Year comes, the people completely clean their homes indoors and outdoors .Store owners are busy and the stores are filled with people, because everybody wants to choose their favorite new clothes. People are also busy buying some fruit、candies and some kinds of nuts which are prepared for the visitors during the Spring Festival .Many people paste spring couplets to make a lively and happy atmosphere ,which is a Chinese tradition.

The day before the festival is New Year ‘s eve .In the evening ,the whole family are sitting together having supper and watching TV until midnight .Of course ,the supper is richer than usual .I think it’s my happiest day in the year .

On the first day of the New Year, all the people, old and young, put on new clothes, visit their friends and relatives and wish each other good luck in the New Year.
