高二关于旅行的英语作文：A Meaningful Visit

It is a tradition in china to pay a visit to the tomb of their ancestors’ on Spring Festival and I did it this year, too.

Since it is really a very important thing for Chinese people, I got up early this Spring Festival .And taken by a car; I came to foot of the mountain where my grandfather was buried. When I stepped up the mountain, many memories flashed back to me. At the moment I felt a little guilty because I was the blue-eyed boy of my grandfather but when he passed away, I didn’t cry for his death and it was also the first time that I had visited him since he died 3 years ago. Now never will I catch the chance to see him again.

Before my grandfather’s grave, I hoped sincerely that he could forgive me. After that we lit the incense and fireworks.

On the way back home, I lost myself in my mind again. I still can remember that my grandfather was full of energy the day before he died. He even talked to me gently and it seemed that the God let my grandfather live longer. But the next day the God changed his mind.

There is no doubt that time is the greatest magician of the world .It creates the transformation from happy dossier to millionaire. And it also makes the transformation from lives to bodies without souls. So we should take care of our limited time before the sands of our life are fast running out.

Wow, what a day and what a visit.
